Nominations Open for the Firebird Spirit Awards – Recognize Excellence at UDC!

UDC Community,

We are excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Firebird Spirit Awards Ceremony! This prestigious annual event celebrates the achievements, dedication and contributions of students, faculty and staff who embody the spirit and values of the University of the District of Columbia.

The ceremony will take place during Spring Fling on Friday, April 11 at 7 p.m. A formal reception will follow the ceremony, providing an opportunity for honorees and attendees to connect and celebrate together.

You can nominate individuals and organizations for the following awards:

• Firebird of the Year Award

• Firebird Points Champ

• Flame Keeper Award (Faculty/Staff)

• Student Leader of the Year

• Campus Spark Award

• Club/Organization of the Year

• SLS Legacy Award (Graduating Seniors)

In addition to the awards, we want to recognize students who have received notable scholarships or completed meaningful internships during the academic year.
